Athletic Meet at BELA College Celebrates Golden Jubilee



As part of the Golden Jubilee celebrations, an exciting Athletic Meet was organized at BELA College. The event saw enthusiastic participation from students across various streams, showcasing their talent and spirit in a variety of sports. The meet was inaugurated by Dr. Satwant Kaur Shahi, Principal of PG College, who flagged off the event and officially declared the Athletic Meet open. Students from different streams took part in the march past, offering a salute to the college flag, setting the tone for the day's events. A range of competitions were organized, including sprints, shot put, javelin throw, discus throw, long jump, triple jump, sack race, spoon race, and tug of war. These events tested the students' physical endurance, teamwork, and skill. The chief guest for the event, S. Jagwinder Singh, Secretary of the college management, congratulated the winners for their outstanding performances. Director of the college Dr. Shailesh Sharma thanked all the participants, staff members, guest and chief guest of the function for attending the event. He also said that The Athletic Meet was a celebration of not only athletic talent but also the spirit of camaraderie at BELA College. The event was well-organized by the Department of Physical Education, with Mr. Pritpal Singh, Mr. Amarjit Singh, Dr. Gurjeet Singh, Ms. Ramandeep Kaur, and Ms. Jaspreet Kaur playing key roles in ensuring its success.
