Bela Pharmacy College celebrate NATIONAL GIRL CHILD DAY

Amar Shaheed Baba Ajit Singh Jujhar Singh Memorial College of Pharmacy (Autonomous) and Care ‘n’ Cure Society organized National Girl Child day celebrations to mark the significance of the Day. The event aimed to educate and inspire students about the pivotal role of girls in driving sustainable development and building a better tomorrow. To commemorate the day, the Society organized a series of activities, including a thought-provoking quiz competition designed to test and enhance the students’ knowledge about gender equality, sustainability, and the rights of girl children.
The celebration commenced with an address by the Director Dr. Shailesh Sharma, who highlighted the importance of empowering girls through education, opportunities, and awareness to achieve long-term societal progress. Dr. Satnam Singh, Co-ordinator of the Society welcomed the participants. He enlightened upon the theme for events, “Empowering Girls for a Bright Future”. He said more than 50 students comprising D. Pharmacy, B. Pharmacy, B.Sc. MLS, M.Sc. Medical Microbiology and M. Pharmacy are participating in today’s events. Dr. Navjot Kaur, Ms. Navjit Kaur and Ms. Ramandeep Kaur started the events.
The judges Ms. Ravinder Kaur, Ms. Rupinder Kaur, declared the winners for the events. Kanwalpreet Kaur was adjudged the overall winner of the event. SApna Rani secured 2nd and Manisha got 3rd position in the event. Ms. Harprreet Kaur, Ms. Jaspreet Kaur and Ms. Ravleen Kaur well co-ordinated all the events. The event concluded with the collective pledge to continue working towards an equitable and sustainable society.
