Anti Bullying and Gender Sensitivity Workshop
On 2nd March 2026, Amar Shaheed Baba Ajit Singh Jujhar Singh Memorial College of Pharmacy, Bela hosted an awareness program on Anti Bullying and Gender Sensitivity under the banner of Women Welfare cell/ Anti- Sexual Harassment and Internal Complaints Committee. The session was conducted by eminent speakers, Dr. Mridula Mishra and Dr. Sumer Khullar from Lovely Professional University (LPU). The program aimed to sensitize students about the harmful effects of bullying, promote inclusivity, and highlight the importance of gender equality in academic and professional spaces.
Objectives of the Program
• To educate students about the psychological and social impact of bullying.
• To encourage respectful communication and empathy among peers.
• To promote gender sensitivity and dismantle stereotypes.
• To strengthen women welfare initiatives within the institution.
• To empower students to become advocates of equality and safe learning environments.
Anti-Bullying and Gender Sensitivity
A detailed seminar was organized on dated: 02 March; 2026 to educate students and faculty members about anti bullying and gender sensitivity in educational institutions.On the behalf of institute Dr. Neelam Sharma warmly welcomes both the speakers who have come to conduct seminar on Anti-Bullying and Gender Sensitivity.
Dr. Mridula Sharma from Lovely Professional University (LPU) delivered an engaging presentation on anti- bullying and gender sensitivity to students. The session focused on creating awareness about respectful behaviour, inclusivity and importance of empathy in academic environments. She not only shared valuable insights but also actively involved students in interactive activities.
These activities encouraged participation, open discussion and self reflection, helping students better understand real-life scenarios related to bullying and gender bias.The interactive discussion helped in clarifying doubts and strengthening confidence among participants.
Overall, the program conducted by the Women Cell during the academic year received an encouraging response from students and faculty members. The initiatives significantly increased awareness regarding anti- bullying and gender senstivity.
In the end, Ms. Chamanpreet Kaur delivered the vote of thanks and assured the students and staff that the Women Cell will continue to organize such awareness and empowerment activities in the coming years to strengthen the culture of dignity, equality, and mutual respect within the institution.
