Observed National Pollution Control Day to raise awareness about pollution and its effects





Amar Shaheed Baba Ajit Singh Jujhar Singh Memorial College of Pharmacy (Autonomous), Bela celebrated National Pollution Control Day, with a series of awareness and educational activities aimed at highlighting the hazards of pollution. The event commemorates the miserable Bhopal Gas Tragedy of 1984, serving as a reminder to prioritize industrial safety and environmental conservation. All the staff members of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and students were involved in various activities, including a poster-making competition, slogan writing competition and tree plantation at the institute. Certificates and Prizes were distributed to all the winners. Dr. Shailesh Sharma Director of the College highlighted the institution's ongoing initiatives to promote eco-friendly practices, such as reducing plastic usage and planting more trees. It's our responsibility to protect the environment for future generations. All thanks to program coordinator Ms. Noel, Ms. Namita and Ms. Pooja to make this event successful.
