Baiskhi and Ambedkar Jayanti Celebrated at College of Pharmacy, BELA

Amar Shaheed Baba Ajit Singh Jujhar Singh Memorial College of Pharmacy (Autonomous), BELA, ROPAR celebrated Vaisakhi Festival & Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Jayanti on 13th April, 2023 The celebration was well organized by members of Synthetic Discovery Club and sponsored by AICTE-SPICES. Students of B. Pharmacy, M. Pharmacy and B.Sc MLS had participated in poem recitation competition, collage making competition, animation clip competition, essay writing competition and best out of waste competition. Prof.(Dr.) Shailesh Sharma, Director of College enlightened up the students and staff about the historical knowledge of Saajna Diwas of Khalsa Panth, Importance of Baisakhi and about Dr. B.R. Amebedkar Sahib. He also award the certificates to the winners of various activities. He appreciate the students’ performance and encourage the students to take active participation in all activities. Ms. Sakshi, Mr. Shivam Kumar Giri, Ms. Gagandeep, Mr. Parwinder Singh awarded in essay writing competition. Ms. Simranjeet Kaur, Ms. Ananaya, Ms. Arushi, Ms. Isha, Ms. Harshdeep Kaur, Ms. Yamini, Ms. Muskan and Mr. Sahil Kumar secured positions in best out of waste competition. Ms. Isha, Mr. Indervansh Singh, Mr. Harshdeep Singh and Ms. Harjot Kaur, positions were awarded in collage making competition. In poem recitation competition awards goes to Ms. Gagandeep, Mr. Surjit Singh, Ms. Taranpreet Kaur. Mr. Neeraj, Ms. Gangdeep, Ms. Akansha Singh and Mr. Lucky were awarded in animation clip competition. In last Dr. Suman Lata expressed her gratitude as vote of thanks to her members, colleagues, seniors and participants for making the function successful.
